White wine - Les Cretes - Petite Arvine Fleur Valle d'Aosta Dop Format: Glass bottle 75cl   White wine - Les Cretes - Petite Arvine Fleur Valle d'Aosta PDO - Data sheet Grapevine: white, Petite Arvine 100% (traditional variety) Production area: Montjovet (AO). Terrain (type, exposure, elevation): moraine, loose, sloping with southern exposure. Altitude 350 metres above sea level. First year of production: 2014. Annual production: 6,600 bottles. Area, form of cultivation, planting density, yield: Approx. 1.50 ha, Guyot system; 7,500 ft/ha planting, rows of vines with cordon and row cropping. Yield 8,000 kg/ha. Grape harvest: manual, second half of September. Vinification: Selection of grapes, chilling and soft whole cluster pressing of the grapes, 12-day fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature (13 °C). Maturation 'sur lies' for 9 months. Sensory notes: brilliant, straw yellow with greenish notes. The nose is floral and citrusy (white flowers, broom and orange blossom). Full and savoury on the palate, with a persistent finish. Curiosity: Petite Arvine Fleur grows in a single vineyard in the vocated area of Montjovet in the lower valley, historically recognised for the quality of its production. This is where a concentrated, aromatic Petite Arvine comes to life. Serving temperature: 10/12 °C. Recommended glass: Tulip. Combinations: Salmon tataki, steamed ravioli, fresh goat cheese, mushroom risotto.
