Exposure: southeast. Location: Monforte d'Alba Grape varieties: 100% Nebbiolo Year of implantation: 1995 Average altitude: 350 m Average production/HA: 480 hectolitres Grape harvest: end of October Alcohol: 14,5% Vinification: Maceration of the skins lasts approx. 15 days. Refinement: 30 months in large wooden barrels, French oak. For at least 6 months it remains in the bottle to refine. Organoleptic characteristics: This Barolo presents fruit characters such as melon and watermelon. It has an expressive, fresh nose; with delicate, sweet wood notes and a coffee background. There is tannin, but it is supported by a pleasant fruitiness and spicy notes of cinnamon and aniseed. The wine is complex, sophisticated and full of flavour with an elegant finish. The colour is garnet red and orange prevails with age.
