Description The TracTuff Remote Oil Filter Mount is a universal product designed to relocate the oil filter to a more convenient location. The remote oil filter mount was designed to accommodate the popular Honda S2000 oil filter and utilizes a Genuine Honda M20 x 1.50 mounting stud. If you don’t own a Honda or have a preferred size and brand, all you need to ensure is that it has an M20 x 1.50 thread, a gasket larger than 2.25″ (57.15mm), and a maximum body diameter of 3.15″ (80mm). The filter mount can be mounted in any direction, even upside-down, due to the unique raised lip, which helps contain the oil when the filter is changed. The filter mount has a unique bracket that can be flipped independently of the filter mount. I CNC machined “IN” & “OUT” markings to easily identify each of the -10 ORB ports, as well as made the extra effort to machine a special galley that provides you with a 1/8″ NPT filtered oil accessory port. The hardware kit includes 1/8″ NPT plugs and stainless steel flat head screws to mount the bracket to the oil filter mount. NOTE: If you don’t already have an adapter to get the oil from the original filter location to your new remote mount… I have an equally well-thought-out solution, so please check it out. If you are choosing NOT to buy the port fittings, please be sure to purchase some that have a max hex size of 1.15″ or they won’t work. I also highly suggest the use of a one-way check valve on the line feeding oil to this product, as close to the source as possible.
