The rose window, a precious Gothic jewel, stands out on the façade of the convent of Sant'Agostino in Trapani. The latter was donated in the 14th century by Frederick III of Aragon to the Augustinian fathers, jealous followers of the oldest practices of the evolution of grapes into wine. Santagostino Rosso represents a truly renewed synthesis of that doctrine.
