In the heart of the ager Falernus, in the locality of Campierti di Falciano del Messico (CE), where ancient amphora furnaces still bear witness to wine exported to all known lands in Roman times, falerno del massico is produced, which Latin poets claimed to be the father of all Italic wines. Made exclusively from Primitivo grapes, it has an intense ruby red colour and releases all the flavours and aromas of red berries.
